Embroidery with Silk Ribbon, Cross Stitch & Beading

Embroidery is so satisfying and this wedding gift is such an example. My blog www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com featured this gift on my Saturday post. I used machine embroidery, silk ribbon embroidery, hand embroidery of various stitches such as cross-stitch, lazydaisy stitch, french knots, etc. And as you will see the finished item is nothing like it started out to be.
