Product Description:
A hand embroidered piece of art on 100% cream silk to my own design.I love hand embroidery and have stitched this little piece on a pure cream silk with a variety of stitches which include among others - French knots, Spiders Web, Bullion Knots and Woven Picot. A variety of embroidery threads have been used in colours of white and creams.
I adore texture in pieces of art and have trapped a variety of objects beneath the silk and have embroidered around them to produce this textural piece. The woven picots stand proud of the silk along with looped French knots adding further interest.
The silk embroidery is mounted in a 4" hoop wooden frame which can be displayed on a mantlepiece, dressing table or you could attach a cream coloured ribbon to the screw thread and hang as a display on a wall.
