This pretty little felt ornament takes the form of a circular country cottage surrounded by a typically old fashioned garden with an flowering laburnum tree at the rear which wraps around the walls. Like all the prettiest country cottages this one has a felt interpretation of a thatched roof.It can be used as a pin cushion or simply as an ornament for a little nook on a book shelf or window sill. The ornament measures 2.8 inches across the base, a little wider at the roof and is 5 inches tall.
The hand embroidery shows flowers which have also been finished with beads, a tiny bird box and pretty lace curtains at the arched windows. The front door has been decorated with a beaded heart shaped window with a blue flower.
