Felt necklace fiber jewelry nature woodland by FruitofPhalanges

This felt necklace is #2 in my series of herbal materia medica art jewelry. Mentha piperita is the latin binomial for what we know commonly as peppermint. On this piece a fox peeks out from behind some peppermint leaves, which are needle felted onto a neutral colored, wet felted backing. The eye of the fox is drawn on a piece of scrap canvas with pen and marker and next to the eye is a drawing of it's flowers which bloom from summer through fall.

<br />Measurments: The width of this statement necklace is approximately 8" and the length not counting the tie strands is about 7". The ties add approximately 19".
