Felted Purse, Felted Handbag, Red Bellied Woodpeckers

This cute purse features woodpeckers playing in the trees. The purse body was crocheted in beige and dusty brown to create the tree trunks, then wet felted. The woodpeckers and tree branches were needle felted with dyed wool. The red-bellied woodpeckers perch on trees among cherry branches in beautiful colors of heather green, bright green, dusty brown, and red.
