Fiber painting wet felted flower field by SueForeyfibreart on Etsy

This is a wet felted felt art called 'Field of Flowers'. I first needle felt the organic, Merino fibres to hold them in place and then wet felt for strength. The grasses are all made from beautiful embroidery threads but I did not stitch them. Each thread is held in place by fibres from the wool ant trapped in the felt itself.
