This one-of-a-kind necklace was created for the 2011 'Urban Beautiful' competition - the aim of which was to design a piece which featured Swarovski Crystalised Elements and embodied the theme of 'Urban Beautiful.'
Three stunning Swarovski-made rivolis in the shade 'medium vitrail' have been beadwoven into floral motifs with jagged gunmetal petals of Miyuki long magatamas and are encrusted with 4mm Swarovski-made bicone beads in 'medium vitrail' and 'crystal silver night.'
Linking the necklace together are beadwoven peyote stitched rings. Worked in gunmetal Toho seed beads, with a flash of metallic purple, each ring is embellished with more Swarovski-made bicone crystals in the same shades as used on the floral elements of the necklace. There are approximately 200 Swarovski-made crystals in the whole piece.
The necklace fastens with a double toggle bar, which has a strap woven in spiral rope stitch
