Description
This colourful necklace has been created from upcycled, reclaimed and reworked pieces of old jewellery. The centrepiece is a stunning vintage brooch with the makers mark 'Miracle' on the back. It is made of silvertone metal, possibly pewter, that has been oxidised to give a distinctive finish. It is set with stones of various colours and sizes - one of the small stones is missing but is barely noticable when it's worn. Miracle is a British company founded in 1946 that specialises in Celtic, Irish and Scottish style jewellery.

<br />To the brooch I have attached small sections of reclaimed chain interspersed with pre-loved beads that complement the colours of the stones in the brooch. It finishes with a finer section of chain, some small metal beads and a handmade clasp created with silver-plated wire.

<br />The brooch measures 6.4cm by 3.5cm and the chain is 42cm long.
