Description
The Faded Filigree design has been painted on all the tiles on the frame. The design is hand-painted onto the tiles with a thin layer of silver ceramic paint. As the paint is applied thinly, different parts of the design get brighter or fade when the light angle changes, giving the impression of tarnished silver. To tie the mirror into the design a small border has been roughly scratched into the mirror glass which gives it an aged silvery look. 25.5cm square frame with a 9.5cm square mirror.
