Product Description:

Meet my latest creation...a little horse on vintage metal meccano wheels.

She stands 24cm tall (22cm from nose to tail) and is the perfect size to stand on a bookshelf or mantlepiece. She is made from osnaburg and has been dyed with strong coffee, baked in the oven for an hour, then gently sanded to give her the look of an old toy. She wears a 'saddle' made of dyed red ticking fabric and finished with an antique button. I have added delicate shading around her linen thread eyes to add to her vintage look.

I have mounted her on vintage, red metal meccano wheels and added a string with a rusty bell attached.

Little horse was stitched using my own pattern on an old 1920's Singer treadle sewing machine. She is intended as a collectors item and is not suitable for children.
