Trajan's Column is a Roman triumphal column in Rome, Italy, which commemorates Roman emperor Trajan's victory in the Dacian Wars.
Here is a print of a photo I took while wandering around Rome in August 2007. It was very difficult to restrain myself from photographing anything and everything - as it happens, I came away with 667 photographs...not a bad effort for 3 days!
This print mimics the effect obtained by using a Lomo camera - I've manipulated it post-production, and the vignetting and colour contrast are both very pronounced, resulting in a very painterly feel to the photograph.
This photo is printed on 220gsm canvas inkjet paper, giving the print a fabric feel. It is A4 size. It will be posted in a card-backed envelope, for added protection.
All proceeds from the sale of this item go towards sending my daughter to the 22nd World Scouting Jamboree, to be held in July, in Skåne, Sweden.
