Product Description:

These quirky earrings are inspired by both of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’ books; the Queen of Hearts from the playing cards in “Alice in Wonderland”, whilst the queen print at the centre of these heart-shaped earrings is actually a chess queen, relating to the chess pieces in “Alice Through the Looking Glass”

The earrings have been made using Art Clay Silver (silver clay, which when fired leaves a piece of solid fine silver, .999 quality). The chess queen imprint is made using an old letterpress stamp. The earrings have then been polished, and antiqued to bring out the imprint detail. The hearts measure approximately 1cm square, and are studs with sterling silver butterfly backs.
