What a great invention Yarn bowls are for keeping your yarn from escaping.This one was born on the wheel out of a lump of stoneware clay.. After it was dry enough to trim, the door was cut out and teased open, then re-enforced. Stairs and windows are carved and smoothed. Windows carved out and smoothed. Bisque fired and then glazed with sea green and red cinnamon . It is a nice size measuring 5 1/2 " in diameter and stands 3" tall. These make a great gift for your knitting/crocheting friends. $36
