This design started from a pencil sketch which made its way to a vector illustration and then was cut out of wood by a laser cutter. It was then sealed and filled with resin. The front sections of resin curve gently inwards, creating a con-cave effect and the back has been sanded down and given an extra layer of resin so it is completely smooth. The sides of the brooch have been left untouched so it should be kept away from water.
Its a lovely design to feel and the texture is lushly smooth.
