What makes this small messenger bag unique is the fringed edge. It gets the edging because it actually is a factory remnant of a plaid wool blanket from Pendleton Woolen Mills. The plaid is in dark colors of grey, black, yellow, orange and blue.
I fully lined it with black cotton and interlined it with pellon for additional structure. It has a slip pocket and a zippered pocket inside. There is not form of closure at the top other than the flap that comes over and drops down the front of the bag.
Bag measures 15" by 10" by 2". The shoulder strap is made from th same wool and is 2" wide and 39" long with a drop of about 20" to the top of the bag. Fits nicely over one shoulder but I was also able to wear it crossbody as well.
