100grams of deliciously soft superwash bluefaced leicester wool and silk blend double knitting weight yarn hand-dyed in the delicate She Sells Seashells colourway. Inspired by shell-collecting afternoons with my daughters at our local Perranporth Beach on the Atlantic coastline of west Cornwall. A luxurious yarn combining the soft warmth of Bluefaced Leicester wool and the smooth sheen of silk. Weight: approx. 100 grams per skein (price is per skein) Yarn: 55% Bluefaced Leicester wool, 45% Silk Type: Double Knitting (DK), light worsted, 8ply Length: approx. 212 metres (231 yards) Recommended needle size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4-7) Care: Gentle handwash recommended, as with all hand-dyed yarns.
