Description
Hand dyed yarn - merino cashmere angora.
<br />The base yarn for this is a skein of 80% merino wool, 10% cashmere and 10% angora.The yarn was commercially spun with a fairly high twist to reduce the risk of pilling but it is still soft and springy. It is approx. dk weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand dyed this one with a different technique - it was dip dyed several times to produce shades of bluebell varying in intensity - slightly more purple blue than my monitor shows.The last picture shows the yarn before reskeining to give you an idea of the colour blocks.
