Hand painted 25g Alpaca rich yarn - blue purple green Monet
<br />The base yarn for this is a skein of 67% alpaca yarn with a 33% acrylic core. The yarn is beautifully soft with a distinct halo. It is Aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand painted it in soft blues and purple with a touch of emerald - Monet water colours.
<br />The last picture shows the blocks of colour before the yarn was re-skeined after dyeing.
