Hand painted alpaca merino yarn, beige, blue by SpinningStreak
The base yarn for this is 50% merino, 25% fine alpaca and 25% acrylic for strength. This one is a lovely soft, squishy fine knitting yarn, recommended needle size 3mm, though personally I would use a larger needle size for lace. (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand painted this one over random sections in several shades of blue.
The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks.
2 x 50g skeins: totalling 100g and approx. 766 yards
