Product Description:

Hand painted alpaca merino yarn, blue, green by SpinningStreak The base yarn for this is 50% merino, 25% fine alpaca and 25% acrylic for strength. This one is a lovely soft, squishy fine knitting yarn, recommended needle size 3mm, though personally I would use a larger needle size for lace. (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand painted this one over random sections in definite shades of green and blue, with some of the creamy backgound left visible. The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks. 2 x 50g skeins: totalling 100g and approx. 766 yards
