Hand painted hand dyed merino yarn pink purple
<br />The base yarn for this was a skein of 50% merino wool and 50% acrylic. The yarn is beautifully soft and squishy. I divided the skein and hand painted it in two different colours that work well together - most of it is in semi solid shades of bright to medium pink, some I did as a contrasting set of semi solid lilacs and grape purple.
<br />This yarn is chunkier than Aran weight - so will knit up quickly. (see photo against a one inch rule for a better idea of gauge)There is enough here for a small project like fingerless gloves - or, of course, more hexipuffs!
