Description
Hand painted hand dyed wool yarn.
<br />The base yarn for this is 2 X 50g. skeins of 50% merino wool, 25% alpaca and 25% acrylic. The yarn is beautifully soft and squishy. It is a chunky Aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge).
<br />I hand painted it in scarlet red, apricot, peach and a clear yellow - rich cheerful colours this time. The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks.

<br />2 skeins, approx 50g each, ie. approx.100g and 256 yards in total.
