Hand painted merino mix yarn 100g peach pink green
<br />The base yarn for this is a 100g. skein of 50% merino wool and 50% acrylic. The yarn is beautifully soft and squishy. It is a chunky Aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge).
<br />I hand painted it in a peachy pink and a pale to medium emerald green. I then added a few highlights - dark pink and the tiniest touch of gold. It is definitely less pink and more peach than I have been able to capture on this monitor though.
<br />The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks.
