Hand painted shetland yarn, Monet colours, green, blue by SpinningStreak
The base yarn for this is 100% Shetland wool. This one is a lovely soft, squishy double knitting yarn, recommended needle size 4mm (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand painted this one in small sections in Monet shades of gentle greens, stronger blues and just a touch of pale violet. I am pleased with the results - this is a truly unique skein.
The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks.
