Hand painted yarn 50g dark blue soft olive teal deep red
<br />The base yarn for this is a skein of 25% superwash new wool, 25% alpaca and 50% acrylic. The yarn is beautifully soft with a slight halo. It is a chunky weight, recommended needle size 7mm, so fast growing (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand painted it in darker shades of blue, soft olive, teal, deep red - and just about every shade in between. I am really pleased with this one, but the photos don't capture all the detail - it is muted and dark - but richer than I can show - not at all dull. Men or women colours too
