Hand painted yarn 50g green purple yellow
The base yarn for this is a skein of 40% wool, 15% alpaca and 45% acrylic. The yarn is soft and squishy. It is a chunky Aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge).
I hand painted it in several shades of emerald and lime green, with lemon and purple highlights. It was inspired by the crocuses under my window.
The last picture shows the same hank before it was reskeined, to give a better idea of the colour blocks.
Recommended needle size 6 to 6.5mm
This is 1 skein, 108 yards and 50grams.
