Hand painted yarn, alpaca, soft, thick, blues, browns
The base yarn for this is a commercially spun alpaca in a heavier aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). It is soft and squishy.
I hand painted it in blues and browns, with more than a touch of coral and just a hint of lime, yellow and violet - all fairly muted. The last picture shows the yarn before re-skeining to give you an idea of the colour blocks.
I currently have 3 skeins of this available:
