Hand painted yarn, soft merino wool, lace weight green, pink, white 100g
The base yarn for this is a skein of a slightly heavier laceweight pure merino wool.
This one was dyed in stronger shades of green and pink, with some white spaces retained for contrast.
The last picture gives an idea of the colour blocks.
I would use this one on fairly large needles to create an open, airy fabric - it would make an original summer shawl.

This is 100g skein - now in 2 skeins, because I have undone a knot in the base yarn supplied to me.
