Hand warmers handspun natural dyed merino silk fingerless gloves old rose pink
<br />These fingerless gloves, or handwarmers, are handknitted from my handspun Merino wool plied with my own handspun bombyx silk for added lustre. I dyed the yarn with natural plant material to a subtle beige pink usually known as old rose. The mitts are knitted in stocking (stockinette) stitch to show off the special yarn and they have a ribbed section at each end to ensure a snug fit. They are soft and cosy.

<br />The mittens are a simple, practical design that looks good, keeps you warm and enables you to have full use of your fingers - good for texting as well as knitting!
