Handbuilt bottle shape pot with aged craking glaze
<br />
<br />Handmade, handbuilt with white clay and a textured inside and earthenware craking glaze on the outside.
<br />
<br />Copper metal oxide has been applied inside and out.
<br />
<br />Inside the copper metal oxide turns brown and outside as it mixes with the glaze it turns green.
<br />
<br />Outside the vessel has been stained to give an aged look.
<br />
<br />As it has been fired to eathenware it is porous so it will not hold water but you can use it as a vase for dry flowers.
<br />
<br />Dimensions: 9cm in diameter and 11cm high approximately.
<br />
<br />Quite chunky and heavy.
<br />
<br />*Because of the nature of my work and the material i use it is unlikely that further copies of this item will be produced in the future.*
