Product Description:

This embroidered pendant was created using a vintage style pocket watch case. It has been embroidered freehand on felt, drawing inspiration from a book showing the different species of butterfly. It hangs on a length of organza ribbon.

The inspiration behind this was my love of nature and also a somewhat morbid fascination with the Victorian fad of taxidermy and large scale specimens being on display in their homes. I decided to twist the idea slightly with this to create a pretty pendant.
