Handspun hand dyed alpaca hat, classic knit, slouchy beanie, unisex
Classic design Contemporary neutral colours.
I knitted this one in the round from my own handspun alpaca yarn. First, I combed the locks, then spun some rustic singles and plied them together. I kept the natural unisex neutral brown, but overdyed some lighter patches in a very discreet faint purple shade to create a unique, modern hat suitable for a man or a woman. The beanie is knitted in stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the handspun yarn and it has a short ribbed section at the brim. The beanie is soft and very warm.
This one was knitted in the round and stretches to fit all but the largest head - it measures 8 inches crown to brim and approx. 23 inches around its stretchy brim.
