Description
Handspun Hand Dyed Blue Faced Leicester Yarn Silk lime green violet purple
A small skein of luxury handspun.
This one is subtle and delicate. I handspun the yarn from rare breed Blue Faced Leicester. I mixed in some fine Bombyx silk to catch the light. The yarn is self plied ( before it was dyed, to keep the colours bright and separate) I then dip dyed it in two stages, in lime green and purple violet. The purple is definitely a softer colour than it appears on my monitor.
The BFL has a slight halo and the high quality silk has a subtle gleam. This is a small skein which could be used as an edging or as an accent yarn with another more basic yarn of similar weight - just pick out one of the colours and match/contrast it.
