Handspun hand painted yarn luxury wool silk yellow blue BFL
<br />A skein of luxury handspun. First I spun a single from some Blue Faced Leicester tops, then I plied it with a fine thread of my handspun Bombyx silk. I then hand painted the yarn in an unusual colourway - yellow, gold, mid blue and hyacinth. Some sections have a greenish tinge.
<br />
<br />The yarn is spun smooth and fairly even. The BFL has a distinct halo and the high quality silk has a subtle gleam. The resulting skein is soft. It would make beautiful fingerless gloves or a hat - or it would be perfect to use as an accent yarn.

<br />A unique skein, 134 yards.
