Handspun knit Merino beanie hat Christmas colours - Holly red green
I hand knitted this one from a continuous yarn (so no annoying ends) which I had spun from various highest quality Merino tops. I then self-plied this to keep the colours separate and clear. I chose shades of berry red and holly greens to create a unique, modern hat suitable for a man or a woman. The beanie is soft and very warm. It was knitted in the round, so no back seam.
This one is knitted with a 1.25 inch ribbed section, then in stocking stitch (stockinette)It is a generous size and can be worn either with a bit of slouch or more traditonally with the brim turned up. It measures 9 inches crown to bottom (not turned up)and approx. 23.5 inches around its stretchy brim.
