Handspun luxury yarn, merino, silk, cloud soft, sage green, rose pink CIJ by SpinningStreak
A new range of handspun yarn.
First, I woollen spun some singles from 100% high grade merino in a gentle sage green and rose pink. I then spun a low twist thread of pure white bombyx silk and plied this with the merino singles to create a luxury skein that is balanced, ultra soft and bouncy. It is a one-of-a-kind yarn which catches the light beautifully. The wool is spun slightly thick and thin - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge.
This skein would make a great pair of unique handwarmers - or, of course, it could always be supplemented with some toning plain yarn for a larger project.
