Handspun merino art yarn - smoky grey blue, peach trilobal nylon by SpinningStreak

Product Description:

Handspun merino art yarn - smoky blues, touch of trilobal nylon A new range of handspun yarn. First, I spun two singles from some merino tops I had blended in various shades of light to medium grey-tinged blues. I had carded in just a touch of shiny peach coloured trilobal angelina. I then plied the two singles together to create a balanced, soft, bouncy one-of-a-kind yarn which has a slightly thick and thin appearance. The wool is spun chunky - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge. There is enough here for handwarmers - and, of course, it could always be supplemented with some toning plain yarn - maybe use it for a special decorative border on a larger project like a hat. This listing consists of 1 skein, 44 yards, weighing 32g http://www.etsy.com/shop/SpinningStreak?section_id=5307046 http://www.etsy.com/shop/SpinningStreak
