Handspun merino, rare breed Blue Faced Leicester yarn, art yarn, black, white, Angelina sparkle, by SpinningStreak
A new range of handspun yarn.
This one is fun! It is spun from a combination of merino tops in black, carded with a little angelina sparkle, and a few flashes of tencel, and plied with a thread of my handspun rare breed Blue Faced Leicester in a natural creamy white.
The wool is spun slightly thick and thin - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge. It has a slight halo and is soft - though not quite as soft as merino alone.
