Description

Handspun merino yarn - navy blue, multi rainbow
A new range of handspun yarn.
First, I spun some singles from 100% high grade merino in dark blue. I then spun a fine thread of brilliant rainbow coloured trilobal nylon and plied this with each of the merino singles to create a balanced, soft, bouncy one-of-a-kind yarn which catches the light beautifully. The wool is spun slightly thick and thin - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge.
Used together, these skeins would make a hat, or a great pair of unique handwarmers - or, of course, they could always be supplemented with some toning plain yarn - or maybe use them for a special decorative border on a larger project.

This listing consists of 2 skeins, one 30g/44yds, one 28g/40yds
ie.58g/84yds in total.
