Description

Handspun merino yarn - duck egg blue, caramel, ivory, black
A new range of handspun yarn.
First I spun two singles from 100% high grade merino in random lengths of medium duck egg blue/grey, caramel brown, creamy ivory and black. In one, I had carded in a little bombyx silk for added softness and lustre. I then plied the two to create a balanced, next to the skin soft, bouncy one-of-a-kind yarn. The wool is spun slightly thick and thin - please see last picture against the tape measure for an accurate idea of the gauge.
This would make a fabulous unique hat for a man or a woman, a scarf or handwarmers - and all of those if you supplemented it with some co-ordinating plain yarn.

This listing consists of 1 skein, 152 yards, weighing 66g
