Handspun merino yarn - fun midnight blue with gleaming white ply
A new range of handspun yarn.
First I spun a single from some high grade merino tops. I chose a beautifully balanced blend of dark blues with lighter highlights and a little silver grey. Next I spun a thick and thin thread from a dazzling white trilobal nylon - then I plied them together. This produces a strong design with a 'bakers' twine'/'barbers' pole' effect. The resulting skein is soft and bouncy and the trilobal gives it a subtle gleam. It would be perfect to use as an accent yarn or to create flowers etc as embellishments.
This listing consists of 1 skein approx.100 yards and just over 50 grams
