Handspun yarn, blue green wool, hand painted Wensleydale rare breed, silk, 100g
<br />A skein of luxury handspun.
<br />This one is a vivid colour with subtle shades. I handspun the yarn from rare breed Wensleydale. I mixed in some fine Bombyx silk to catch the light. The yarn is self plied ( before it was dyed, to keep the colours bright and separate) I then handpainted it in a palette of light to strong blues and greens, with a generous touch of golden yellow and purple as highlights.
<br />The Wensleydale has a slight halo and the high quality silk has a subtle gleam.
<br />Listing is for 1 skein, just over 100g, 110 yards approx.
<br />Roughly Aran/chunky - so it is quick to knit up! See picture with 1 inch marker for better idea of gauge.
