Product Description:
A miniature felted and embroidered harvest scene, with lovely red poppies, framed in a pendant mounting.Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). A variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects, have been added to represent the cornfield. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. The embroidered panel is edged in blanket stitch using threads to match the areas of the design. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to add poppies.
