Product Description:
The county of Norfolk lies at the heart of the ancient British tribal lands of the Iceni, whose leader was the well known Boudica.This bead embroidered collar has achieved the feel of the ancient tribes here, with the shield-like shape and colours. I have used Unakite cabochons embellished with matching seed beads, Swarovsky crystal rivolis and unakite beads, glass leaves and dagger beads. The collar has a two way bronze leaf toggle closure at the back, embellished with another beaded Swarovsky rivoli. It is backed with olive green ultrasuede for softeness and comfort.
This collar has taken about 60 hours to make and it is the piece I am most proud of. This really is wearable art.
