Product Description:

The focal beads of this salad serving set are new, but repurposed, glass drawer pulls in opaque white. The accent beads are stunning multi level lampwork glass in olive, light blue green and sepia. The topper bead is a matte finish olive green that has amber highlights. Spacers are silver.

My black lab Charis and I took off in my VW bus for a month long adventure to Canada in Summer 1970. With no particular destination in mind we explored British Columbia and southern Alberta and spent a week in the Jasper area.

The name and inspiration for this set came from a walk in the woods where I found an old mining camp. The miners' trash midden spoke of times past and provided some amazing treasures. I found a fragment from an opaque white bowl under some brambles. The light and colors from the sun dappled forest danced around this little piece of someone's history and I found it quite beautiful.
