It is a Japanese traditional game card in Japan called "Karuta". There are 1 reading card and 1 grabbing card. Someone read the card, people guess which card he/she is talking about and get the grabbing card faster than other players. On this card there is an image of beautiful Japanese woman studying. She is Arakida Rei (Arakida Reijo) (1732-1806), woman writer in Japanese Literature - her book “Sawa no hotaru” (1778) - “Fireflies Above the Stream.”
