Japanese Wave Origami Pattern Bowl in Rust by LLTownleyCeramic

This bowl is thrown on the wheel, painted with a rust brown underglaze, then fired and glaze. I've then applied a custom ceramic decal of a traditional wave pattern, inspired by origami paper. The piece undergoes a third firing to fuse the decal to the bowl.
