Product Description:

This necklace started life inspired by a sad little star brooch from the 1940s/1950s that only had it's central jewels remaining. I'd had this brooch for some time and was planning to source some clear vintage crystals to replace the lost ones. Then one day I started playing with some salvaged vintage Swarovski crystals in rainbow colours and I liked what happened. It began to remind me of the comet and firework style jewellery from the Atomic age and that was the birth of this piece. The result is what I call the Jewelled Vintage Comet.
