Alpaca knit beret tam pink navy
<br />This is my mother's classic beret pattern, handknitted in a luxury alpaca yarn. I used three different sizes of needle to achieve that perfect beret shaping - and this particular yarn holds the shape well, despite being so soft. I chose two contrasting colours - a strong pink and a dark navy blue. I added a small pink i-cord knot as a finishing touch. The hat is easy and comfortable to wear in a variety of styles and it would accommodate quite a lot of hair. It measures 10.5 inches diameter across the flat top and 19 inches in circumference at the unstretched brim.
