Headband neckwarmer knitted vintage inspired 1940s turban style
This is an interesting item that can be worn in different ways. It is a trendy turban style headband (earwarmer) that is reminiscent of the 1940s. It can also be worn as a cowl (neckwarmer) that pulls over the head. Worn this way, it sits beautifully on the neck - though my headform cannot show this.
It is hand knitted from a soft, thick, warm wool yarn in several shades of blue. It measures approx. 20 inches unstretched and is knitted in a wide rib stitch. The cross of the turban is stitched in place so that it stays in position.
Fashionable - and really warm!
